I do not have a US credit card and billing address, will this be a problem with setting up an account?
No – our supplier can set up accounts for any customer, regardless of banking, home or billing address.
Do I need a US Social Security number to set up an account?
Is there an activation fee?
Yes – there are 2 activation fees.
Axxess applies a minimal fee for activation and seasonal account support: $400
DISH Network applies an activation fee: $79.00 per account
Can I use my existing receivers?
Possibly. Please provide us with your existing hardware so we can get status of the receivers/cards and move from there.
Do I have to enter into US waters in order to activate my account?
Upon purchase of new hardware and new account set up – we have managed to work around this process, thereby saving our customers time and money with avoiding unnecessary trips to USA.
How is the activation process done?
Receivers will be delivered to you pre-activated. However, once the receivers are installed onboard – an activation ping will be required to initiate final activation for programming.
Can I suspend my account?
Yes – you may suspend your account after 3 months of activation.
What is the length of time I can suspend my account?
6 months – after that time DISH Network will automatically ‘reactivate’. A notice will be sent to you advising of this and you can decide if you wish to re-suspend after the initial 90 days of activation.
Is there a charge to suspend my account?
Yes – there is a $5.00 charge per account per month.

Can I maintain my own account?
Yes – once your account is setup, you may request account information for online log in.
